Shabbat
Shabbat is a gift of grateful rest from a busy week. Our tefillot (services) use many contemporary tunes as well as Reform Movement favorites. Most sermons are teaching moments with discussion encouraged. Our community gathers to take a collective deep breath to tap into a more spiritual experience than the rest of the week allows. Please come join us.
During self quarantine we are having Shabbat via Zoom Video, please see the calendar or zoom events page for the links and times. When are are free again to congregate we meet Friday nights at 7:30pm (7:00pm for Family Shabbat) or Saturday morning at 10:00AM.
Shabbat morning Torah study is at 9:00 or 9:30 AM.
Services for the chagim (Sukkot, Pesach, Shavuot) are innovative and engaging and not the usual liturgy. Yizkor (memorial) services are offered four times a year as well.
Our High Holidays include contemporary music along with classic favorites, children’s services, tashlich along the Hudson River, a Rosh Hashana hike, adult study during Yom Kippur afternoon, and also a community break fast.
See our calendar or call the office for details.
