Cemetery |

The Cemetery Committee has the responsibility for the care and upkeep of our three cemetery locations: Big Rock, Cedar Hill, and Snake Hill. Big Rock Cemetery is now over 160 years old. They meet with congregants and prospective members to provide pre-planning burial assistance, coordinate arrangements at time of death with the family, funeral home, cemetery staff, and clergy. The Committee is responsible for the proper maintenance of the Cemetery Fund and its appropriate use of funds so it will provide Perpetual Care and a sacred resting space for our loved ones for many years to come. The Cemetery Committee meets quarterly to review income and expenses and plan needed maintenance and activities. They work with other committees and the Rabbi on life-cycle rituals and work closely with veterans to honor those who have served our country. |
