TBJ Sisterhood Seudat Shlishit – 6:00pm on Saturday, June 17 at the temple. Customarily the third meal eaten on Shabbat. TBJ Mitzvah Arugah Knitting Group – 7:00pm – Thursday, July 6. The knitting class will meet only on the first Thursday of the month until the end of August. Feel free to pick up yarn at the temple office anytime and drop off finished hats. There is NO cost to you and all are welcome to join this growing circle of “Hookers & Loomers”.
Yizkor Memorial Book - It's that time again to start thinking about your Yizkor Book dedications. The deadline to hand in the form below is Monday, July 10.
TBJ Sisterhood Pool Party – 1:00pm on Saturday, July 15 at the Packer residence. There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken and an ice cream bar. Bring your own folding chair, bathing suit and towel. Please also bring a pot luck side dish to share with at least 10 people. $10 per person. Please RSVP by Tuesday, July 11 to (845) 562-5516.

Annual dues of $18 will be due at the dinner.
High Holiday & Shabbat Prayer Books - A MEANINGFUL AND LASTING GIFT - Dedicate a prayer book in honor of a family member or friend. We will notify them of your generosity and place a dedication bookplate with their name on the inside front cover of the prayer book. We are looking to purchase several sets of larger print High Holiday and Shabbat prayer books to assist our partners and enable them to participate more fully in services. Your generosity can help make this happen.
$36 donation per prayer book dedication for regular Shabbat Mishkan T’fillah (The Reform Movement prayer book).
$54 for Mishkan HaNefesh for High Holy Days regular print or Mishkan T’fillah Shabbat larger print books.

Gift of Life Bone Marrow Swabbing Drive – Stem cell donors needed for the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. Donors swab the inside of their cheeks and complete a registration form, must be 18 to 35 years old and in good health. Volunteers are also needed for a couple of hours to help find someone’s match. Contact Sherrill Murray-Lazarus to volunteer at [email protected]. The upcoming swabbing dates are below:

Izaack, a 21-year-old, A-league soccer player, is in urgent need of a blood stem cell transplant in order to survive. Izaack was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2021. He doesn’t have a matching donor in his family, causing him to turn to the community for support.

Quigong/Tai Chi – 11am on Wednesday, July 5 and every Wednesday thereafter. Join us with certified instructor Bryon Abrams as he teaches us mind-body practices and mindfulness meditation to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, decrease anxiety, depression & fatigue. Donations appreciated.
