Please pay on-line or drop off a check at the front desk for March 24-26 for the TBJ Catskills Weekend Retreat at the Winter Clove Inn & Resort in Round Top, NY (61 mi. from TBJ). Indoor and outdoor activities, socializing, Shabbat and Havdalah services, games, cultural and educational workshops. Cost per person is $375 which is all-inclusive (2 nights/6 meals/gratuity/supplies). Registration fee of $75 is required, cost goes toward the total, and is non-refundable. Gift of Life Bone Marrow Swabbing Drive – Stem cell donors needed for the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. Donors swab the inside of their cheeks and complete a registration form, must be 18 to 35 years old and in good health. Volunteers are also needed for a couple of hours to help find someone’s match. Contact Sherrill Murray-Lazarus to volunteer at [email protected]. The upcoming swabbing dates are below:

At your service - TBJ Passover Valet - Need some specialty items available in Monsey, but hate to make the trip? Too busy to take time out to travel to Evergreen but would really like some of their Jewish specialties? We have you covered -
On Thursday, March 30th, some intrepid TBJers will be going down to Evergreen market to do some Passover shopping and will gladly, happily and willingly purchase items for you, for your Seder or for your family. We will pack them up and have them available at TBJ starting Friday March 30th. Payment will be due when you pick up your items. Please call (845) 562-5516 to place your order. Orders/Requests will be taken until Tuesday, March 28th. Check Evergreen’s website and let us know what you want. Please write your list down, be as specific as possible and provide any substitutions you will or won't want.
The fine print - We will do our best to purchase what you need, but understand that some things may not be available or, we might inadvertently get the wrong item, the wrong flavor or the wrong size. We ask that you pay for the item anyway and find a way to use it. We promise to do our best, but our eyesight is sometimes bad and we make mistakes!

Join Rabbi Kohn, Student Cantor David Epstein and your TBJ family for an introspective Seder full of song and food. Bring your friends, bring your family. Please BYO Wine, Seder plate and ritual items (Soft drinks, coffee and water will be provided) Cost - $18 per person ($10 for 2 - 12 year olds). TBJ Introduction to Judaism – 7:00 – 8:30pm on Thursdays through May 4, 2023. This course will explore the basic customs, texts, values, history and beliefs of Judaism and Jewish life. It is open to those who may be interested, those who may not be Jewish, those who did not attend Jewish religious school when children, those who are considering becoming Jewish, and those who are related/married/partnered with a Jewish person, and wish to better understand the Traditions and functioning of Jewish life. The course will be taught by Rabbi Douglas Kohn. To register, please call the office at 845-562-5516. - Saturday AM 4/22 - Shabbat morning services including Family Shabbat Services - Come hear our Religious School students as they help lead the services.
- Saturday Evening 4/22 - Cantorial Concert with Student Cantor David Epstein & friends - Join us for a musical evening of song and fun - drinks and snacks. $10 / per person, maximum of $36 per family. Be a Chazan sponsor for $55.
- Sunday - 4/23 - The return of TBJ Mitzvah Day. Wear old clothes and come prepared to beautify our neighborhood. Opportunities available for families and adults - volunteer either within the Kol campus or work in the greater Newburgh area.
