Gift of Life Bone Marrow Swabbing Drive – Stem cell donors needed for the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. So far we have had 107 Matches! Donors swab the inside of their cheeks and complete a registration form, must be 18 to 59 years old and in good health. Volunteers are also needed for a couple of hours to help find someone’s match. It is May 2014, and Dr. Klara Lieberman, a professor of archaeology at a small college in Maine, has just received a letter from her estranged mother, that will change her life. Her father, the man who has been absent from her life for forty-three years, has been dead for many years. But now the Polish government is giving financial reparations for land it stole from its Jewish citizens during WWII, and Klara’s mother wants the money. Klara has little interest in the money—but she does want answers about her father. She flies to Warsaw, determined to learn more. Register by calling (845) 562-7860.
