Food Bank of the Hudson Valley - More than 350,000 people in northeastern NY are often forced to make the choice between paying for housing & utilities or purchasing basic personal care items that are not supported by food stamps. For Rosh Hashana, we are running a drive to collect the items needed below. The items will then be donated to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. Shopping bags to fill are available in the front lobby of the temple. Please return the bags by Sukkot filled with: Soap, Shower Gel; Shampoo and Conditioner; Toothbrushes and Toothpaste; Disposable Razors and Shaving Cream; Diapers and Baby Wipes; Tampons and Pads

Gift of Life Bone Marrow Swabbing Drive – Stem cell donors needed for the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. So far we have had 99 Matches! Donors swab the inside of their cheeks and complete a registration form, must be 18 to 59 years old and in good health. Volunteers are also needed for a couple of hours to help find someone’s match.
