Sisterhood Book Club – 1:00pm on Thursday, September 25, at the temple. The book will be "The Plot Against America by Philip Roth. An alternative history in which Franklin D. Roosevelt is defeated in the presidential election of 1940 by Charles Lindbergh. The novel follows the fortunes of the Roth family during the Lindbergh presidency, as antisemitism becomes more acceptable in American life and Jewish-American families like the Roths are persecuted on various levels. The narrator and central character in the novel is the young Philip, and the novel follows his coming of age, as well as American politics.

Gift of Life Bone Marrow Swabbing Drive – Stem cell donors needed for the Gift of Life Marrow Registry. So far we have 151 Matches! Donors swab the inside of their cheeks and complete a registration form and must be in good health. Volunteers are also needed for a couple of hours to help find someone's match.
