TBJ Sisterhood Rosh Chodesh – 5:30 pm on Thursday, June 9 at the home of Carol Packer. Meet author Eileen MacAvery who will teach us how to journal our own “Six Word Stories” as a group. This event is in collaboration with TBJ Sisterhood and Newburgh Jewish Community Center. Please RSVP to 845-562-5516.
TBJ Mitzvah Arugah Knitting Group –7:00 pm on Thursday, June 16. We have moved to our "off-season" schedule for the summer. We will only meet in person on the third Thursday of each month from April through August. Feel free to pick up yarn at the temple office anytime and drop off finished hats. There is NO cost to you and all are welcome to join this growing circle of “Hookers & Loomers”.
TBJ Sisterhood Seudat Shlishit – 6:00 pm on Saturday, June 18 at the temple. Join us in celebrating the longest Shabbat of the year and Summer Solstice with Seudat Shlishit: the Third Meal of Shabbat. Menu includes a variety of salads, challah rolls, cookies, and an ice cream bar. $18 per person for members/$25 for all others. Bring a friend. Men are invited too! TBJ Sisterhood Trip to Boscobel – 7:30 pm on Sunday, July 24. Everyone is invited to see the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Company’s production of “Romeo & Juliet” at their new location at 2015 Route 9 in Garrison. The ticket fee is $32.33. Limited tickets are available. Please RSVP by July 10th.
TBJ Yizkor Book – Honor your loved ones that are no longer with us by placing a dedication in this year’s Yizkor book that will be used at Yom Kippur and all Yizkor services during the next year. Forms are attached in all emails and on the table in the front lobby of the temple. Deadline to hand in forms is Monday, July 18th.
TBJ Sisterhood Annual Dinner – 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 23 at ABC Pizza, 198 Quassaick Avenue, New Windsor. Dinner will include salad, bread, soda, and choice of Eggplant Parmesan or Chicken Francese and soda. Cost is $31 per person including gratuity. Please call the office at (845) 562-5516 to reserve your spot. Annual dues of $18 can be added to your check or paid to TBJ separately.
